Our Story
A bridge between two cultures
KAKEHASHI was founded by Toshiaki Victor Watanabe, a French-Japanese individual based in Tokyo. Having lived in Paris for over thirty years, he has developed an in-depth understanding of French and Japanese cultures, as well as a strong international network.
The name KAKEHASHI, which means "bridge between two hearts", reflects our mission: to bring people, cultures, and businesses closer through authentic experiences and lasting exchanges.
Thanks to our local presence in Japan and our on-the-ground expertise, we design tailor-made trips, far from mass tourism, by prioritizing encounters, authenticity, and exclusive discoveries.
Each project is carefully designed to offer a smooth, personalized, and deeply human experience.
Our Commitments
• Local expertise based in Tokyo
• Authentic and personalized experiences
• Support before, during, and after your stay
• A privileged network of trusted local partners
• A human approach based on listening and quality
Because a trip is not just about the places you visit, but the memories you create, we design each experience as a unique encounter between two cultures.
